If your succulents are damaged, they’re at risk for being infected by bacteria that causes rot. Remove broken leaves promptly and trim back any stems that were partially severed. You can try propagating the pieces you take off. Larger wounds can be treated with a coating of sulfur powder to help prevent infection. Leaves that have suffered severely from sun damage will not heal and should be removed so the energy being put into keeping them alive can be redirected to new, healthy growth.

Avoid potting tender-leaved succulents next to spiky plants like Aloes, Euphorbias, and cacti since they can be difficult neighbors.
